The only question that matters is whether you believe in a friendly or hostile universe.
Your thoughts create your reality.
What you believe dictates how you move through the world.
From the belief in a friendly universe, comes action in anticipation of opportunity, benevolence, and love.
Your life is not just events happening.
Your beliefs about what happens and the choices you make based on these beliefs, are much more significant than the events themselves.
This means that in order to achieve your dreams — love, happiness, fulfillment,
the limits you really need to get rid of are the one’s in your own mind.
The problem is: your brain is designed to keep you safe, not help you grow.
IT’S TIME FOR A RESET.
What is a limiting belief?
Limiting beliefs are negative thoughts that have become so repetitive that your brain takes them as law.
They originate from childhood events that your brain couldn’t find an outside explanation for, so you assumed the problem was you.
After making this initial assumption, the thought continues to come up every time something doesn’t go your way.
“I’m not lovable.”
Things are always just harder for me.”
“I’m stupid.”
“I’m not capable.”
Eventually, these thoughts become so familiar that you accept them as true.
When you accept a thought as true, that thought becomes a belief.
Beliefs are a part of your identity; you take them with you wherever you go.
Every time you experience a challenging or similar experience to the one you had growing up, your brain is quick to provide an explanation.
“Of course this would happen because _____________”
Why does it matter?
If you believe you can’t, you’re right.
If you have a specific goal in mind
— a loving relationship, thriving business, fulfilling life—
but there is a deeply embedded thought in your mind that tells you your goal just isn’t possible due to who you are or how the world responds to you,
your whole mind is working against you.
Limiting beliefs lead to wrong desires and wrong self concept.
Your nervous system responds to repetition whether real or imagined.
It is a pattern recognition machine, with the tendency to go toward the familiar.
When you’re familiar with feeling stuck, your brain is going to keep repeating that same story,
over and over,
until you’ve completely forgotten who you are.
How can we heal?
Healing is simple.
Your earliest wounds have influenced your beliefs, which in turn created your current sense of self. From this sense of self emerges your being:
your thoughts, your behaviors, your responses.
Healing means working backwards—
finding the repetitive thought patterns that turned into your beliefs about the world and created the identity (and circumstances) you feel stuck in right now.
In order to begin moving forward, these patterns must be brought from the subconscious, where they currently dwell,
to the very center of your awareness, so that each time you encounter them, they are weakened, not reaffirmed.
Its time to stop taking the counsel of your most limiting beliefs and instead develop a sense of possibility for your self and your life.
A new way of being is available to you.
All you must do is avail yourself to it.
